nbr 15: Insufficient Auction Time

What it means

Not enough time left inside tmax to run the bidder's own auction.

A bidder returns nbr on an otherwise empty BidResponse to say why it is not bidding, instead of (or alongside) an HTTP 204. Code 15 is insufficient auction time.

What to do about it

Insufficient auction time means the tmax budget left after network transit was too small for the bidder's own auction. Audit the tmax you send (the validator flags non-positive and implausible values) and where your latency to this bidder is going.
