Loss reason 212: Creative Filtered - Animation Too Long
What it means
Animation exceeds the publisher's duration limit.
The exchange reports this code by expanding the ${AUCTION_LOSS} macro in the bid's loss notice URL (lurl). A bidder that does not set lurl never sees it, and never learns why it lost.
What the exchange checked
The exchange compared the creative's animation length with the limit on that placement. The OpenRTB request does not carry the limit as its own field. It lives in the publisher's or the exchange's creative policy.
What to change
Shorten the animation, or stop the loop. A banner that loops with no finite duration keeps drawing 212 on every auction until the creative changes. A static frame, or an animation that ends inside the published limit, clears it.
